Accident, Incident and Arrest Reports

Accident, incident, and arrest reports may be obtained in person, requested by email at arangolan@monroenc.org or mail at Records Division, Monroe Police Department, P.O. Box 69, Monroe, NC 28111. Reports cannot be faxed. The following is needed to locate a report: report number, name of person involved, or location of the incident and date.

Accident reports may also be obtained through CARFAX at CRASHDOCS.ORG for a fee of $5.50.

Fingerprinting

The Monroe Police Department provides fingerprinting Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is a $10 fee for fingerprinting which is to be paid to the City of Monroe Customer Service located at 201 E. Windsor Street, Monroe, NC 28112 (building behind the Police Department). A copy of the receipt and a picture ID are required to obtain fingerprints. We do not provide electronic fingerprinting.
